Description of Research
As present energy storage systems such as rechargeable batteries suffer from issues related to stability, lifetime, and safety, organic redox-active polymeric materials are being researched as the next-generation energy storage systems as active materials because they have great advantages in terms of desirable molecular structure, superior chemical and physical properties, and excellent electrochemical storage performance. With these broad applications in mind, my research is currently focused on optimizing the synthesis of biocompatible redox-active polymers.
