Description of Research
Computer vision research has allowed for computational algorithms that recognize and detect objects in images and videos. Many of these advances have been driven by using deep neural networks to model data and have manifested in numerous new technologies from facial recognition to autonomous vehicles. My research interests include applying deep learning to developing areas of vision such as image generation and video understanding. Recently, I am interested in applications of generative adversarial networks to image-toimage translation and domain adaptation.
